Pegah Harlan

Pegah V. Harlan, DNP, CRNA, Co-Founder and President of Vantyx Anesthesia, brings over a decade of clinical, operational, and leadership expertise in anesthesia and healthcare staffing. As a Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist with a Doctor of Nursing Practice from the University of Iowa, she has cultivated a reputation for excellence in patient care, medical team leadership, and healthcare system optimization.

Throughout her career, she has held diverse roles within multiple healthcare organizations. In leadership positions, she spearheaded preanesthesia testing (PAT) departments, implemented patient safety protocols, and contributed to hospital policies aimed at improving surgical outcomes and patient satisfaction.

Drawing from extensive locum and contract experience across multiple healthcare systems, she co-founded the company to elevate the standard of anesthesia recruiting. Vantyx is committed to providing healthcare organizations with highly qualified, clinically competent professionals while fostering a culture of integrity, excellence, and medical professionalism.

Todd W. Decuir

Todd W. Decuir is Co-Founder and Chief Executive Officer of Vantyx Anesthesia and a Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist with 20 years of clinical experience. He has practiced in solo provider roles, small groups, ambulatory surgery centers, large hospitals, and large anesthesia groups.

His clinical background and leadership experience at both group and national levels give him a practical understanding of the staffing challenges facilities face. Todd works closely with hospitals and surgery centers to build responsive anesthesia teams and coverage that fits naturally into their operations.

He is committed to long-term partnerships grounded in trust, flexibility, and clinical excellence, whether a facility needs short-term support or a lasting anesthesia solution.
